NF

Nathan John Feuerstein, born March 30 1991 was an American artist and rapper. He is known as his initials, NF, which is spelled as in the form of IF. Two EPs have been released, I'm FREE (2012) [3and a self-titled EP by Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first major label release. The album that he followed with Therapy Session was released on April 22 in 2016. It peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have been recognized by numerous awards. One of them includes the Gospel Music Association Dove Award, Rap/Hip Hop Album Of The Year (Therapy Session). In 2017, Perception became mainstream. It ranked at the top spot in the United States and was also certified platinum. When its third single "Let You Down" reached the top ten on the U.S. charts, NF gained mainstream popularity in the year 2017. Billboard Hot 100 topped the international charts and was a top 10 single. Feuerstein achieved the same commercial success when he released his follow-up The Search (2019). Feuerstein stated that rap was for him an escape from his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs on the Karaoke Machine, recording his instrumentals on one mic, and his raps on in the other. Feuerstein independently released Moments the album that was the first of his studio album on November 29th 2010. On August 2, 2011 Feuerstein released his first single "Alone". The track featured producers and songwriters Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. Xist Music noticed Feuerstein’s work in 2012. He released his first extended piece, I'm Free on May 2nd 2012. Profitt produced it. The tracklist consisted of nine tracks, including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version "Alone" with Sean Simmonds. Xist had announced the release of the self-titled extended play, NF, but Feuerstein split with the label following an argument, and the release of NF was delayed. NF also included a song titled "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams in its compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4 in 2013, he debuted "Beautiful Addiction" as a single. Profitt was heard on the track along with vocals by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
